PanARMENIAN.Net - Egypt will increase its entry visa fee from March 1, raising it from $25 to $30, the country's Chamber of Tourism Companies and Agencies announced.
The change applies to tourists arriving at Cairo and Hurghada airports, RBC reported citing Cairo 24.
Entry will remain free for tourists arriving at Sharm el-Sheikh Airport and staying on the Sinai Peninsula for up to 15 days. However, those traveling to other regions will be required to pay for a visa.
The cost of multiple-entry visas will remain unchanged at $60.
Earlier in 2025, Egyptian authorities had announced plans to raise the visa fee to $45, but later abandoned the proposal.
