Urgent: Rafah border crossing begins operation: sources

GAZA, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Rafah land crossing began operating on Monday for the first time in more than one and a half years, as a number of Palestinians arrived on the Egyptian side of the crossing in preparation for entry into the Gaza Strip, Palestinian sources said.
