CAIRO, March 8 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his visiting Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias discussed on Monday ways to advance cooperation between the two countries.
The two diplomats also exchanged opinions on a number of regional issues of mutual interest, the Egyptian foreign ministry said in a statement.
Shoukry highlighted Egypt's willingness in facilitating the flow of Greek investments to Egypt and removing obstacles that might face Greek companies.
He also expressed support for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of tourism and energy.
The two ministers welcomed the level of political consultation between their countries and pledged to coordinate positions on all developments in the region.
